Cheri Hadsell

Office Manager

Cheri Hadsell has worked in an office environment for more than 20 years. Cheri has been the office manager at Agape Psychological Services for 3 years. She is personable, likes to talk to the clients and put them at ease. Before working at Agape, she worked for more than 16 years for two engineering firms as an administrative assistant. Prior to working for the engineering firms, Cheri was a stay-at-home mom. Cheri grew up with a military father, then married a military man. As a result, Cheri moved all over the United States and has lived in 3 foreign countries. Cheri has been married for 26 years and has 2 adult sons. She became a Christian as a teenager and continues to remain very active in her church. Cheri likes reading, playing cards and board games, and spending time with her family.

Bob small

Robert Hemenway, PhD

Dr. Bob received his Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno. He has over 35 years of experience in psychotherapy. Before working as a psychologist, he was a minister. He deals with adults, children, and adolescents as well as sex offenders and victims of sexual abuse. He enjoys communication and spiritual counseling. Bob is President of the Board of Directors for Alpha Productions Technologies, a sheltered workshop. He is also Executive Director for Steps to New Freedom, a congregate care facility. He is the father of five children, plus more recently, a grandfather. Bob enjoys outdoor activities, climbing, snowboarding, fishing, and hunting with his family and friends.

Leeanne small

Leeanne Hemenway, PhD MFT

Born and raised in Reno, Leeanne received her Masters Degree in Counseling and Educational Psychology from the University of Nevada, Reno and a second Masters Degree in Psychology from Fielding Graduate University. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in clinical psychology. As an American Academy of Bereavement Certified counselor, Leeanne deals with grief issues as well as death and dying. She is the mother of five, plus one foster daughter and several exchange students.

Dale small

R. Dale Loftis, MS MFT

Dale received his Masters Degree in counseling from Central Arkansas State University, with post-graduate work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas and Reno. His expertise is in abuse recovery, and adoptions and foster care. Here at Agape, he works as a facilitator of groups in the sex offenders treatment program. He has worked in residential treatment for 26 years and over 300 foster children have lived under his care. The father of six, Dale enjoys hunting, camping, and rural living.

Carol small

Carol Williams, MA MFT BCPCC

Carol received her Masters degree from the University of Nevada, Reno. Her undergraduate degree was in Speech and Language Pathology from California University in Fullerton. Carol lives in Carson City, the mother of three sons and grandmother to three grandchildren. Carol has worked with parents of children who suffer from various learning disabilities and how that may impact the family dynamics, especially marriages. She also enjoys working with women who have experienced childhood sexual trauma and post-abortion syndrome. Carol finds many blessings working with married couples as they look at their part of the dysfunction, not their mate's dysfunction. The Bible is very clear on the attitudes that bless the relationship and those that strain the relationship. Carol offers biblical counseling in dealing with life issues both at Agape (if desired) and in Carson City at the Center of Biblical Counseling. Carol has been a volunteer counselor at the Carson City Community Pregnancy Center for many years. She is a member of AACC (American Association of Christian Counselors), through which she is a Board Certified Professional Christian Counselor.
